Did you get error message after updating or while you update.? Did you remove the chip from cartrige? Are you sure your firmware version is v.41?

Our Russian friends, they have offered some solutions.

First is cloning solution, explained by Titus. Here is link.

And second is link to firmware 30/31 or firmware 41.

Find your version using Menu # 193 #.
